Non-pressurised electric water heaters

TGR Smart series heaters feature the ECOS feature which records/monitors user behaviour and calculates after 7 days the optimum operating regime which allows minimum power consumption required to meet the user’s needs. This actually means that within a period of 7 days, the heater memorizes in which times of day the users require the largest amount of hot water, or at which times hot water consumption is the highest.

After seven days of recording/monitoring, the water heater uses the memorized data to switch on just soon enough to heat the water by the time the user needs it. This will save power as the heater will only maintain a temperature of 40°C in the mean time, rather than keeping the temperature constantly at e.g. 65°C, which is the case with conventional settings. The temperature and amount of hot water will still suffice for your normal needs. If user needs change, the recording cycle must be repeated.
