Pressurised electric water heaters

Besides the new and advanced electronic regulator with touch sensitive LCD the OGB SMART heaters boast top notch technical solutions for its heating elements. Tubular air heating elements are inserted into the metal protective tube of the heating flange. Both the tank and the protective tube are well enamelled, and along with the magnesium anode, they provide excellent anti-corrosion protection, reduce limestone depositing and simplify maintenance.

OGB SMART series heaters feature the behaviour monitoring/recording function which calculates after a certain period of time the optimum operating regime which allows minimum power consumption required to meet the user’s needs. Within a period of 7 days, the heater memorizes in which times of day the users require the largest amount of hot water, or at which times hot water consumption is the highest. In the SMART operating mode, the water heater thus uses the memorized data to switch on just soon enough to heat the water when the user needs it. This saves a considerable amount of power as the heater does not maintain a constant temperature (e.g. 60°C) as with standard settings; however, the amount of hot water and its temperature is still adequate for the user’s regular needs.
